Stock flasher relay is designed to work with standard bulb flashers. When the stock flasher is changed to LED flasher, the stock flasher relay does not work properly because of the difference in power consumption between the stock flasher bulb and the LED flasher. This IC Relay enables LED flashers to work in any configuration. The IC Relay is for correcting power to the LED, making it possible to operate at a low lever of power. If you plan to use LED turn signals on the front AND rear, then you will need to use the IC Relay. If running one set of LED and one set of standard bulb turn signals, you shouldn't need the IC Relay.
Some models need to use this IC relay with the stock IC relay (RMX250S, DRZ400S/SM etc.). Reduced electrical power usage. Some skill required for installation. One IC relay required for each bike.Can not use flasher pilot light and position light when installed XR250. If the flasher operates like hazard indicators after installation, Indicator lamp wiring kit is required(below). Works on 12V DC.

When standard bulb flasher is replaced by LED flasher, electric consumption becomes low and stock flasher relay does not work correctly.
This resistor wire helps stabilize electric power for LED flasher from stock flasher relay.
Electric consumption level is the same as with stock flasher.

*This harness will produce heat when used. Please install in area where heat is not a problem.
This kit is required when flasher operates like hazard indicators after the IC relay installation. Place these harnesses in-between the wires from the pilot lamp and the wires from the chassis.
Some models(XR230, KSR110, KLX250, D-TRACKER etc.) require this kit for proper operation. For 2007-2009 KTM EXC, when running an all LED turn signal system, we have found that the EXC's back-feed through the OEM indicator. This wiring kit corrects thi sissue and allows you to run LED turn signals and still use your stock indicator.
